Last Week for Lewis & Clark, Washington and Sacajawea

It's been a great month of classes! 

Art, History and Science are all wrapping up this week at Sacajawea, Washington and Lewis & Clark. Keep an eye out for final class photos and check out our Facebook page for glimpses

Art Class Wrap Up at Wilson, Lincoln and Van Buren

It was a pleasure sharing art lessons for the September session with students from Wilson, Lincoln and Van Buren! For our last class we talked about the very popular artist Romero Britto, he was very well received - his art is bright, fun and exciting. He has a really great website that I told all the children about so if you'd like to see it as well, check out www.britto.com.  

Tomorrow starts our October session where we will be teaching Art, History and Science at Lewis & Clark, Washington and Sacajawea Elementary Schools. Can't wait to meet a new group of artists!  

Making History with History Club!

History Club of the Mythology Variety has been such fun!  We have been working on learning about the family tree of all the Greek gods beginning with Chaos!
This week the kids are learning about myths and how the ancient Greeks explained all the unexplained!

Art Class Updates

It's the beginning of week two of Full Circle Art! Last week was great, I really enjoyed meeting all of the children in my classes, they were awesome to be around. Last week we talked about Dale Chihuly who is one of my favorite artist. We made our version of Chihuly's Macchia bowl, I hope your child was able to tell you how we made it and a little something about Chihuly when they got home! 

I showed them this video so they had an idea of what making his art looks like. I also sent home Drawing Challenge notebooks to give the kids an opportunity to draw everyday, this should be a fun activity that they look forward to - no stress, just some pictures!! 

This week we will be talking about the artist Wayne Thiebaud and experimenting with chalk pastels. We will create our version of one of his many dessert artworks and watch this video that talks about his art's perspective and what we should notice about it. It's going to be a fun week!

Multiple Discounts for Multiple Classes Plus updates registrations and more frequently asked questions

Here at Full Circle we have had several questions regarding discounts for Multiple class enrollees as well as having multiple kids enrolled in classes.
So here is the full scoop!

If you have Multiple Classes that your student is attending, there is a discount of $2 per extra class.

If you have Multiple Children there is a discount for each additional child's registration of $3.

The next question we have gotten was can you stack discounts?

The answer is yes!

Also the registration form needs to be saved and then printed.  Because of that, we have had some confusion.  If you would like a PDF copy, please email us and we will send one right over!

Another question we have had was where to return the registration forms at.

Wilson, they can be sent with their student back to the school.  All other schools registrations need to be either mailed back to the address listed (2301 Idaho Ave) or can be dropped off at Curves in Caldwell (by Papa Murphy's Pizza)  If you need to leave it at the school for us to pick up, please call one of us to make arrangements.

Frequently Asked Questions: Prices/ Ages/ Etc

Full Circle of Idaho started as a way to enrich the public education system.  We likely meet at your elementary, so transportation is simple-  just pick up your student at 5:00 in front of the school!

We are open to grades 2nd through 5th in all Art, History, and Science.

Any of the three clubs or classes are limited space, so it is set up on a 1st come 1st served basis.

All Supplies are provided, so all your student has to do is come and have fun!

The point of these clubs are to provide education, but in a VERY fun environment.

Each Club or Class runs for a 4 week session.  Mostly they are set along the calendar months, but sometimes they overlap slightly due to holidays and breaks.

History Club  is $25 per session

Art Club is $35 per session

Science Club is $35 per session
